June’s Issue of the Month: Ever been between crime reporting and snitching?

Side note: To make discussion even easier, we have moved our Issue of the Month section directly to this blog!

This Issue of the Month revolves around a topic many youth deal with when they witness crime and violence. First, watch this video, a speech by Terry Allen Jones, our National Training Director, at the Agents of Change Summit that took place recently in Broward County, Florida:

Like Terry said, young people have to be aware about a lot of things, and oftentimes with being aware of our surroundings come tough decisions to make. Tell us about your experiences with crime reporting vs. snitching, and the decisions you’ve made to deal with the dilemma.

Welcome!

On behalf of our Board of Directors and Staff, I’d like to welcome everyone to our new blog feature.  This is a great opportunity for us to discuss the concepts of your youth-led movement in terms of it history, where we are at now and what the future holds in store.  But allow me to remind you all that a blog is only as good as the the input that it receives. The more we input and discuss, the better and more useful the blog is. So with this said, we look forward to hearing from you all.
