Kethania Griffiths

Kethania lives in the Burgher Gardens community in East Kingston, Jamaica. She is a third year student at the University of West Indies Mona completing her Bachelor of Science Degree in Management Studies, Marketing option. She is the secretary of the Burgher Progressive Youth Club in her community and a member of the Youth Crime Watch of Jamaica team.

Kethania is a campaigner for youth upliftment and development through the use of arts, sports and education; and is in support of developmental programmes which create opportunities for these engagements. She actively participates in community development in her community and other communities, as she believes in the motto ‘together we stand, divided we fall’. She is uniquely progressive in her ambition and vision for youths and is inspired by the Marcus Garvey philosophy “Progress is the attraction that moves humanity.” She hopes to become an entrepreneur in the future, helping to provide well needed job opportunities for youth.
