Upcoming Events in Ghana
Saturday, September 25, 2010 – Youth Crime Watch of Ghana and BrassRing Media Network will present the Family Poolside Jam sponsored by Healthy Life Juice at the Beach Drive Hotel. MCing will be Akosua Wilson of World Traffic Jam from Vibe FM and Mavis of Between the Sheets from Pink FM. This event will bring families together from the Kasoa and other areas of Central Ghana.

The youth will compete in swimming, table tennis, weight lifting and a rap battle. This event is brought to you by Vibe FM (a local radio station in Accra), Pink FM (a local radio station in Central Region) and Sena Radio (a local radio station in Tema).

Youth Crime Watch of Ghana, with other agencies, is also piloting a Youth in Agriculture Camp program. This is a special initiative exclusive to Youth Crime Watch.

Youth Crime Watch of Ghana, in collaboration with BrassRing Media, is rebroadcasting “The Apprentice” with Donald Trump on Ghana Television and will soon start airing on TV3. We hope this collaboration will help reshape the youth of Ghana and transition them into the corporate world with the skills for today’s work place. Kwame Jackson, one of the former candidates on the show, will be soon be in Ghana for a public engagement with about ten tertiary institutions. One of the youngest mayors in U.S. history, Michael Sessions, is also slated to visit Ghana soon. Also coming soon via Ghana Television, YCWG will  be inviting leaders from a variety of fields to discuss leadership and their commitments to public service with students live from their schools.
