Start a Program

Ignitus Worldwide offers several distinct programs that embody the spirit of our youth-led model. Currently, over 500 schools are community program sites. These programs give youth the framework and skills to take charge and improve their community.  They are formal mechanisms through which Ignitus fulfills its youth led mission.

All official Ignitus programs have a set of outcome measures that are part of an evidence based system that allows program participants to assess performance.  We utilize a proprietary pre and post survey to measure program results.

Our flagship program Youth Crime Watch or YCW … The program employs a “Watch Out, Help Out” philosophy.   All program components allow youth to develop leadership skills while working to make schools and communities safer.  Click on the YCW link, below, to find out more about program basics different program components such as bullying, youth patrols, conflict resolution or education programs or how to start a program.

Ignitus also offers a Peer Mentoring Program, where adolescents mentor younger youth within a formal structure.  Ignitus is happy to be working with national experts Big Brothers Big Sisters.
